Female Underwear tied with Charms Found on Cultist Caught in Ogun State

Suspected cult members who are said to be three in number have been arrested in the Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State. These three suspect were allegedly caught with a female under wear which was tied with a charm.

The suspects who are identified as Olagboye Abidemi, 32; Olasemojo Michael, 28; and Wasiu Waheed, 23 – were reportedly members of the Eiye confraternity.

They were arrested by the Ogun State Police Command on Friday. The police was reported to have stormed  their  initiation hideout  in the Agbowa area of Ogijo.

Abimbola Oyeyemi, The Police Public Relations Officer of Ogun State had confirmed the arrest. He said the arrest was made in continuation of the command’s war on cultism and other violent crimes.

He added that “The DPO Ogijo division, CSP Muhammed Baba, got the information of the cultist hideout, while leading his men on an “Operation Puff Adder” routine patrol and they headed there.

Jackknife, One bloodstained silver knife, a female underwear tied with charms and other charms are the items found on the suspects.

The PPRO however, said the Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama, had ordered the transfer of the suspects to the Anti-Kidnapping/Anti-Cultism, section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation.
